Even though the contract that was signed when the PL was taken said “END OF MONTH” debit order, they decided to run the debit order command on the 23rd of the month, before my salary is paid, which now makes me look like a bad payer, meanwhile they breached the contract. Steer clear of these idiots at Absa. Rather use FNB

The worst run part of Absa…which is saying something. You apply online, nothing happens. You call in and force that through, it has to be manually processed. You’ll be following up with them for weeks with no progress.

Horrible, horrible service! Been listening to a ROBOT and pressing buttons for 7minutes now. Best part is… they called me! Been 4x attempts now, I hold for minutes on end and when someone FINALLY picks up the phone, it is just as quickly gets put down in my ear.
