Who it suits
Active OFWs with a valid POEA contract who need financing for family expenses, debt consolidation, livelihood projects or emergencies back home are the intended borrowers. A Philippine-based representative, typically a family member, usually needs to help coordinate documentation and disbursement locally.
Applying and repayment
Applications can be lodged at a BDO branch in the Philippines or through select BDO offices abroad, with POEA contract, allotment slip and ID documents submitted for verification. Repayment can be arranged through monthly allotment deduction or direct debit from a BDO account, giving OFWs flexibility despite being based overseas.
